Supporting parent and staff wellbeing – quit smoking this October

The nationwide Stoptober campaign from Public Health England encourages smokers to stop smoking for one month with the aim of quitting for good. Face to face support, with or without medication or with an e-cigarette is the most effective way to quit. That is why Hackney Council’s Public Health team is encouraging smokers to ‘give quitting a go’ this Stoptober with support from a range of tools available, all for free. For more information call the Hackney Stop Smoking Service on 0800 0469946, email smokefreehackney@nhs.net or go to www.smokefreehackney.org.
