Overview
Hackney’s approach to curriculum diversity is a core component of its commitment to being an anti-racist borough.
The Hackney Diverse Curriculum is designed to help schools and settings cultivate a rich and inclusive learning environment. We work to ensure that educational content reflects the multicultural population and addresses systemic inequalities.
Initially developed by Hackney teachers and staff for all Hackney educational settings, it soon became clear that there was a much wider appetite for the resources, with requests from across the UK and internationally.
Please note, we are a not-for-profit service and the small fee for the resources will be used to create additional documents. This is a one-off payment, which gives you access to the current resources and any future additions.
What's included?
