For student disciplinary or parental complaints panels/hearings, we provide: advice and guidance such as best practice exemplars for invitations, outcome letters, packs, orders of proceedings) to schools and governors; customised advice from clerk on procedural aspects during governor panel pre-meeting, and during and post-meeting; first draft of minutes and outcome letters.We will review case bundles and work closely with Chairs to advise on the integrity of the process, to ensure it will withstand further, external levels of scrutiny. We will liaise with Local Authority Exclusions / SEND teams as appropriate. Organising the meeting and issuing the final letter to all parties is normally performed by the School.
For any HR/ staff grievance/ performance review meetings, we will provide high-calibre minutes, and work in partnership with HR colleagues to support as per their guidance; we will not provide HR advice for this type of hearings and normally will not draft the outcome letters. We produce high calibre formal minutes that are fully compliant and produce an accurate record of events and key decisions and transparency for scrutiny for stakeholders.
