Overview
Destination Reader is a pedagogical approach to teaching reading at KS2 through engaging daily, structured sessions that support children to read with greater understanding, enjoyment and purpose.
What's included?
This refresher is designed for schools who have purchased the full Destination Reader package and would benefit from a refresher session to enable staff to improve their effectiveness in the teaching of reading.
This session also covers any updates and is a useful revision of the structure and purpose of the core book, independent and written comprehension sessions in addition to asking staff to reflect on the progression of knowledge and skills across KS2.
