We offer a wide range of instruments for schools to loan on a termly basis.
Available to Hackney Primary, Secondary Schools and Academies only. Please check for availability.
What's included?
- Free loan of basic stock of instruments for schools purchasing instrumental tuition through Hackney Music Service
- Instruments can be hired at cost-effective rates to schools with their own music tutors (depending on availability)
- Small instruments can be swapped out for larger sizes as the child grows

Our Music Service is responsive and flexible, with talented teachers and partnerships with world-class national, regional and local ensembles, organisations and groups. We offer advice and guidance on curriculum music and development, as well as support in monitoring progress in music for all.
The service also provides opportunities to nurture and develop young musical talent through frequent major performances in public venues. All our music tutors are DBS checked and quality assured.
