Autumn 2026 School Census: information for schools
The Autumn School Census takes place on Thursday 1 October 2026. Maintained schools must submit their return to Hackney Education by Friday 2 October 2026.
Guidance packs for primary and nursery schools, and secondary schools, are available in the Resources Hub. Each pack includes a Quick Guide, Supporting Guide and Census Checklist.

Hackney Provider Portal: Autumn 2026 Actuals submissions
The Actuals submission window is open from Tuesday 8 September to Friday 9 October 2026.
Please submit your setting’s census records as early as possible. Submitting early allows time to resolve any queries before the deadline.
